Re: The forums won't keep me logged in
OMG Richelle don't keep us in limbo. The intensity is just too much. Did you get it fixed? Is Ulwar still the genius, or is Holmes/Kwag taking the upper hand on this one? We must know! Chiming back in here ... Holmes advice came from me, and IIRC it was more about not being able to see the DKP page ...

Re: The forums won't keep me logged in
Help me Ulwar, you're my only hope! So yeah, the forums make me log in every time I visit, even though I have the box checked to keep me logged in. Any way to fix this? I have heard this somewhere before. Typically, that is a carryover problem from the old forums. Clear all cookies, log in again ...

Re: re-login
Two things:
1. Make sure you visit www.azergarde.ca (i.e. include the 'www') because cookies are sensitive.
2. Make sure you click off the little "auto login" check box before logging in.
Those two things should do it. Keep us posted.

Re: YouTube Help
Free accounts are limited to 10 minutes (used to be 5 minutes).
You can set up what I think is called a director account (not sure if there is a cost) which provides for longer times.

Re: DKP
Why is what date 1900?
In any case, Kittie's DKP is now somewhat accurate. What is missing is two purchases from last month. We'll get those in soon.

Re: Avatar
The name is changed in order to ensure that it is unique. In any case, it should work now. The site didn't have write permissions on the avatar directory on the new server.

Re: BT gems thread
Well of course, if I like the performance and features etc (which so far are impressive), then I'll actually throw it in a case. But for now, why waste the time?

Re: BT gems thread
I agree that Google Anaytics is a good product, but here are the pitfalls: - the client must support and not have blocked javascript. - you won't get any reporting for failed pages (e.g. 404s, 500s, 503s, etc) - Google gets to know about all of your traffic. A package on the server deals with all of ...

Re: BT gems thread
I haven't set up a stats processing program yet. But since this new server is doing a bunch of websites, I'm going to set something up for all of them. I'll let you know the results. I'm curious to see what kind of traffic the various websites put out.
