Hey guys!!!
Been about a year or so since I been here. What happened to the guild? Dont see Tempest on the list anymore...
I have been thinking about coming back to WoW ... but I am not sure what to roll. I gave my mage (Falcoure) to someone in the guild a while back, mostly because I was getting discussed with the direction mages were going. To be out damaged by a warrior was just plane wrong.
I was thinking about rolling a warlock, but I am not sure. Are warlocks still the High DMG rankers? I want a high dmg caster class.

High damage = Feral Druid and Fury Warriors.

I'd recommend rogue if you want to go for dmg. But, if you want high dmg caster try a moonkin I don't know how many times i've been out dmg'd by them only to see them take a beating and still not need to be healed. And, mages are back towards the top of the dmg list since the buffs to mages and nerfs to warriors.

mages are still the best pure dmg - warlocks offer different options of debuffs, SS, HS, CC and other things.

warriors with a dps spec are always going to be near the top. but mages are still the best pure-damage caster class, and dps class overall.

In terms of caster damage, I think cathas numerous deaths speaks to itself

If we are judging it based on that... he could also be a feral druid =p

Lol I don't know if this is the real Falcoure or not, if so that's awesome.
Anyway, the basic dynamic is still the same. A fire mage can top the DPS charts, although he will probably die some. Freakish warriors like Devilin can still do mad DPS under the right circumstances.
Basically not that much has changed since you left.

"Falcoure" has posted on our boards a few times since his departure. Whenever he does something always strikes me as off. Take that as you will.
Its Really Me! ;)

Yes its really me!! I gave my account to someone in the guild (or was in the guild). I was hoping falcoure would remain with Azergarde. I have been waiting for that person to log on since I started my new account - but so far nothing. I am wondering if he quit as well.
Anyway,
I created a Draenei Mage name Dimadar. A mage that can HEAL!!! cool - almost makes up for the fact that mages dont get plate armour ... seeing that wariors still do way too much dmg
Send me a tell every now and then.

I did give it to Shacki. I didnt want to mention his name though
But too late. I was talking to Donnie (Nebow) about the situation, and he told me that he heard from Dirk (druid that was in guild - cant remember his toon name) and Scott (warlock brother of Dirk who was also in guild) about Tempest disbanding him. I had hoped Falcoure would remain in service to the guild in some fashion - thats why I had left it in control of an active player.... But of well.
I have sent messages to Shaki about taking Falcoure back - but I havnt heard from him yet. Since I gave it to him (and didnt sell it), it shouldnt be too much of an issue.
I was able to log onto falcoure earlier today - except for my mule toons being deleted, some extra levels, and a few new blue items that have replace my puple gear that has now since dissapeared, and a major respec - everything looks pretty much the way I left him. However, Shacki did purchase BOC for him - so, I would need to compensate him for at least that.
However, if Shacki wants to keep falcoure - I wont push the issue. If I can take over falcoure, then I am hoping to merge my Dimadar account with the falcoure account and reactivate Nebow. However, if that doesnt happen - I will hold onto my existing account and still reactivate Nebow.
I need to make sure I do what is fair for Shaki in all of this - I dont want him to feel slighted.
