anyone else getting stuck at connecting as of 7:20 PM (server)?

Nay, I downloaded the annoying patch after 20mins for >2megs and got on just fine.

I fixed it, anyone having the same problem should just unplug their modem/router and all computers then plug them back in in the same order.
